Inspired by Haida longhouses and designed by Unison Architecture, the new Skidegate Health and Wellness Centre will feature ocean-facing windows and an open, welcoming interior. The 9,400-square-foot centre will face the ocean in the tradition of a Skidegate longhouse, but its windows will look out from a tsunami-safe spot high above the current Skidegate Health Centre.

Designed by NSDA Architects of Vancouver, BC, The Village at Anderson Creek is a 75-unit Alzheimer and Dementia Care Facility, located near historic Fort Langley (the birthplace of British Columbia), amidst farmland, forest and a suburban neighbourhood.  Respecting the character and scale of the nearby neighbourhood, the Village buildings are 1.5 stories tall, arranged like a cluster of cottages, and enclosed in a park-like setting with a variety of paths, gardens and outdoor spaces.  A community building houses shops, workshop areas for art and woodworking, a barbershop and spa, all of which is open to the pubic to create continuity with the surrounding neighbourhood.

Designed by Frankl Architects, this mixed-use development is one of the first new developments in the Marpole neighbourhood in Vancouver. Located at the corner of Cambie Street and NW Marine Drive, it acts as a transitioning element between a new commercial centre and the nearby residential neighborhood. Its distinctive design elements are the curving balconies and tapestry of colourful metal panels.

Working in conjunction with UBC, these conceptual watercolours were used to promote the potential for an Innovation Hub at UBC’s Robson Square location. The idea of the hub is to provide opportunities for collaboration and innovation between students from multiple faculties and industries.

These watercolours were painted to assist the fundraising campaign for St Mary’s Parish to develop a new courtyard for connecting the school with the existing church and providing a public gathering space for the parishioners and families. New courtyard addition was designed by Acton Ostry Architects.

This schematic watercolour was created to illustrate a proposed canopy renovation designed by Ted Murray, Architects for the Sandbar Restaurant on Granville Island.

Developed by the Qualicum Parksville Kiwanis Housing Society, the Kiwanis Village residences were designed by John Larson of CA Design with Landscape Design by McDonald Gray Landscape Architects.

Affordable Homes in the Qualicum Park Village were designed for a diverse community from young families to seniors.

This is an early Master Plan Rendering of the Great Northern Way Campus. The Campus is comprised of four universities, including Emily Carr University of Art + Design, UBC, Simon Fraser University and the Centre for Digital Media. The master plan also includes private commercial lots for office and residential development, all of which together creates an active community in the False Creek Flats train yards.

In collaboration with Allan Diamond Architects, this conceptual watercolour sketch was used as the basis for the design of the interior of the Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub on Main Street.
